Hayley, thank you for this episode. It felt gentle and very real.
I really connected with what you said about creativity being a place where God brings healing—not just coping. I’ve experienced that too. When I didn’t have words, art journaling helped me stay close to Him, and I felt clarity, comfort, and even my identity coming back.
I also studied art therapy, and I share some of what I’ve learned in my Bible Scribal Substack, because the message about creativity is so important.
Thank you so much for the kind words. It’s so beautiful to see how God meets each of us in our creative practice and offers what we alone can’t create within us. I’m excited to keep exploring the therapeutic side of art and how I may be able to serve others more through it. Will explore your Substack too!
I just have started and am in a process to learn how to do Substack and what to write and share. It’s exciting but also a lot of unknown for me. I have so many ideas. I’ll come back to your podcast to hear what is your path.
I listened to your Podcast! Truly moving and thank you for sharing your story. My journey started in art after the loss of job, parent and child.. I am grateful for the healing God extended to me following those losses.
Thank you so much, and thank you for sharing your story of healing too. I’m so sorry to hear about that, and I pray God continues to bring hope and renewal through creativity.
